Sony BRAVIA KDL-52W4100 Customer Review

Sony BRAVIA KDL-52W4100 Customer Review. I bought this television in the late 2008 and have found it to be an an absolutely great purchase.

Some people said that the television has problems while the black shades are switching. Ilooked at this in the store with great details and have used it for a month and I have’t noticed that at all. This is a super sharp TV with excellent colors and strong black tones. This TV is so much improved than the older Sony W model.

Here is why you should buy this TV. It has a extremely good image in digital broadcast and does a very good job in standard definition transmission much better than some other TVs I have used. For that it’s respossible a good technology from Sony named DSP which is essentially noise reduction technology. Sony is familiar with Blu-ray because afterall they invented it, they know whit color tones should appear I mean they hold a movie studio, the tv menus are truly simple to use, it has a built in TV guide and it has capability for future expansion.

Picture quality is very close to Samsung in digital broadcast. I looked at both TVs side by side. Samsung is a bit better on clarity in analog broadcast. Samsung has more glare, Sony has a matte cover but darks on Samsung are pretty good because of the glossy screen. When viewing a Blu-ray disc,Sony is showing a more detailed image. No fade from white to black issues on Sony as some reviews has noted. Colors are pleasant and vivid as Sony Bravia 2 engine is great, perhaps even better than XBR engine.I’ve heard the Z series may be better but there aren’t 52” models

Tv menus on Samsung televisons are created for experts with a lots of tweeks, but really it’s unclear for average Joe. If you don’t believe me, get the user instructions for the Samsung LN52A650 and for Sony KDL524100 and see for yourself. If you are technical person, then buy Samsung. If you don’t want to mess around, but you want an excellent image, you should buy Sony. Ths Sony TV is very simple to use, but also it automatically finds digital channels and is like you get also a built in cable box.

The Sony tv Set doesn’t have the Ethernet connector and built in news like the series 6 from Samsung, but it does have the built in TV guide and option for upgrades. But, if you want internet in your TV, you are better to be connected through external device. The TV guide feature in this tv set is good and the Sony Bravia Sync is great particularly when you are using a Sony DVD converter for 1080p. Picture in Picture technology is great also because you can view image from HDMI while viewing cable TV.

For me favorite thing on Sony KDL52W4100 is the power button on the top side as this is keeping children from shuting down TV. Also a good thing is the remote on the Sony as it is very easy to operate.

So, if you want the a super clean image, easy to use LCD TV with that makes every day television viewing fulfilling and easy. This Sony KDL52W4100 is outstanding choice.

You can check Sony KDL52W4100 on LCD TV Reviews portal. If you don’t like Sony check Samsung LN52A650.
